Approved at the recent ASHRAE winter conference in Las vegas (See ASHRAE's press release), KGS will carry out an intensive 2 year research project to document the "best practices" in data, interfaces, and control strategies within dozens of large buildings across the United States. The content of that research will be used to help standardize the best practices of building performance monitoring according to different building typologies, ranging from hospitals and universities, to affordable housing and commercial office space.
